Ball State students filled the Student Center Ball Room to learn about food insecurity. A poverty simulation event was put on by Second Harvest Food Bank to see if students could survive living in poverty for a month.
As a child, Normandy Flower Shop owner Judy Benken thought she would grow up and find out what she wanted to do. Benken’s family owned a flower shop in Muncie. Benken spent a lot of time helping her family's business.
The Muncie Mission has provided resources and services to community members for over 85 years.
The 28th annual Heartland International Film Festival came to an end on Sunday. The 11-day festival in Indianapolis features films and filmmakers from around the world.
