Crowds have listened to the United States Marine Band play during the inauguration of every president since Thomas Jefferson, and this weekend Muncie community members can hear them through more than just their televisions.
When the neighbor’s cat began showing up to band practice, four Ball State students couldn’t help but attribute their name to their biggest fan. The cat has since moved away, but his legacy lives on in Porch Kat’s name.
This year’s Bonnamu raised over $3,700 for Riley Children’s Hospital and the Special Olympics.
