Daleville volleyball continues impressive season with sweep over Muncie Central.
Despite a third-quarter comeback, the Tigers could not get over the hump and fell to Jay County 56-48.
After picking up wins in the semifinals, Delta and Yorktown will face off in the championship game of the Delaware County Tournament.
“To come to the field house is on everyone's bucket list,” Muncie Central head coach Justin Ullom said. “To be able to watch a full day of competitive games I think we can really promote Delaware County basketball with this type of event.”
The first round of the Delaware County Tournament started with a pair of matchups at Wapahani high school.
Muncie Burris defeated Frankton for the second time this season with a 3-0 sweep at Ball Gym in Muncie. The Owls picked up their 19th win of the year and look to ride that momentum into the Pioneer Conference tournament Sept. 23.
