I’ll watch just about any sport.
I won’t pretend that playing with the Ball State Wheelchair Basketball League for an hour a week gives me an insight into the life of any person with a disability.
It is in my nature never to quit. I am an athlete at heart, with a competitive streak that makes my brother and sister hesitate to play a game of Monopoly with me. So naturally, as I returned for my second week of wheelchair basketball and attached the wheels to the shiny red seat of the #15 chair, I was determined to improve my performance.
The Delta Eagles football team took on the Mt. Vernon Marauders Friday September, 19th .Last year, Mt. Vernon won the game between the teams on a game-winning field goal as time in regulation expired.

I have never been that good at basketball, I can’t make a three-point shot, do not ask me to dribble with my left hand — I ruled out a career in the WNBA long ago.
