Ball State women’s basketball honors seniors in win over Ohio

The Cardinals (23-7, 15-2 MAC) took home the first Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular season title since 2003 by defeating Buffalo (23-6,12-5 MAC) 72-60.
The Ball State women's basketball (21-7, 13-2 MAC) fight ended a two-game losing streak with a 60-58 overtime win against Central Michigan (12-15, 7-8 MAC).
The Ball State women's basketball (20-6, 12-2 MAC) lost to Kent State (17-10, 8-6 MAC), 60-54, their second consecutive loss in the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

The Cardinals Jimmies and Joes lifted Ball State (20-5, 12-0 MAC) to a 74-69 win over the Eagles (1-22, 0-12). Ball State remains a perfect 12-0 in the Mid-American Conference.
The Cardinals had a chance to pick up a Quad1 win in the Challenge, but foul trouble prevented them from holding a lead late in the fourth quarter. Ball State is now 19-5 on the season and James Madison has improved to 21-4.
Ball State (19-4) notched win number 13 in a row against Bowling Green (11-11, 5-6 MAC) with a 71-51 win and set a new program record for the best start to the Mid-American Conference regular season (11-0).
Senior Alex Richard sparked a dominant run out of the half for Ball State (18-4, 10-0 MAC) that ended in a 61-51 win over Western Michigan (8-12, 5-5 MAC).
The Cardinals made 12 3-pointers in the first half, putting up 53 points after the first two frames. Ball State (17-4, 9-0 MAC) kept its lead and defeated the Bobcats (4-15, 2-7 MAC) 83-61.
