Wapahani's Wells gets a win over her former team

Tonight it happened once more as she left the court to her screaming players in the locker room. There was one key difference. Wells traded in the black and gold for a black and red when she became Wapahani’s head coach during the offseason. Tonight's 3-2 Middle-eastern Conference win over Daleville was her first time back in the familiar gym.

Yorktown defeats Brebeuf 3-1 in home opener

Yorktown went into last night’s home opener against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory having only played one other game (a 3-0 win against Westfield) this season. But the Braves had already played four games and had only lost one set in that stretch. Yet the visiting Braves have now lost four sets as the Tigers came out victorious as they defeated their opponent 3-1, giving Yorktown its second straight win.

Cardinals crowned MIVA regular season champions

It has been an eventful 10 months for Ball State Men’s Volleyball (20-3, 12-2 MIVA) and head coach Donan Cruz, but Cruz can’t help but focus on one thing: enjoying the moment with the program.  From Cruz being named head coach of the Cardinals June 16 to the Cardinals defeating then No. 1 Hawaii (19-5, 4-3 BWC) twice in three days to, most recently, winning the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association regular season championship after defeating Purdue Fort Wayne (15-12, 6-8 MIVA) April 9, it's all happened in less than a year.
