Several parking lots around Ball State's campus will receive repairs throughout the end of May and into the middle part of July. An email sent out by Parking Services today notified of the following renovations set to take place around campus.

Men's tennis has 5 earn 2017 Academic All-MAC honors

Five members of the Ball State men's tennis team were named to the 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team. Senior Lucas Anderson won the award for the third time while it was senior Andrew Stutz' second honor and the first for sophomores Conner Anderson, Marko Guzina and Nemanja Guzina. This award adds onto Lucas Anderson's already impressive collection.

TRACK & FIELD

Two Ball State track & field athletes named First Team All-MAC

After their first place finishes in last week's Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, sophomores Regan Lewis and Peyton Stewart were named to the All-MAC First Team. Lewis secured a spot in the high jump during the NCAA Preliminary Regional in Lexington, Kentucky on May 26, after her performance in the conference tournament. Her 1.82m high jump was not only best in the MAC, but it was the second-best jump in program history and a personal best for Lewis.

David Letterman to receive nation’s top prize for comedy

David Letterman’s job was to make America laugh five nights a week, but he also didn’t mind making his audience uncomfortable. The late-night host’s irascible, independent streak inspired fierce loyalty from fans and critics and led to his being honored with the nation’s top prize for humor.

Ball State graduate to appear on Broadway

Concentration is key during an exam, but recent Ball State graduate Kayla Davion Robertson’s concentration was interrupted by her phones insistent buzzing. It wasn’t until after that, she realized why she wasn’t being left alone.
