“Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze” for Nintendo Switch is funky but not in a good way

Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch is a hard game to recommend. As  far as platformers go, it’s very challenging and often frustrating.  Tropical Freeze was released at a full $60, and that’s enough to not  recommend this game, considering it’s a port with only one new mode.  Tropical Freeze has its moments, but in the end those moments aren’t  enough to justify the countless lives you’ll lose while playing through  this game. If you’re a hardcore platformer or Donkey Kong fan, you’ll  love this game. Otherwise, you can pass on Tropical Freeze for the  Nintendo Switch.

‘My Hero Academia’ Season 3, Episode 5: “Drive It Home, Iron Fist!!!”

This episode mainly focused on the action of a few fights with the  classmates given permission to go against the law and fight for their  lives, adding emotion to the suspense. The few highlighted fights showed  some interesting villains and their quirks, while showing how some  students struggle to fight against a real-threat. It’s not easy, and  this episode is sure to remind the viewer of that with each second. The  plot of the story arc progresses a lot in this episode, but the overall  storyline of the show is not impacted that much.

Nintendo Labo: Technical Marvel or Weird Gimmick?

Overall, the Nintendo Labo is definitely a weird piece of technology  that has yet to find its exact place in the gaming audience. The game  shines brightest when people work together to create each toy.  Otherwise, it can feel pretty disappointing and lonely. Despite the  exhausting moments of the setup, there are unique and interesting ways  to create and play.
