Bracken Library hosts opening of new contemplation space

The contemplation space had its formal opening on the second floor of Bracken Library Sept. 29. The opening drew a small group of people in the northeast alcove on the second floor. Faculty, including Matthew Shaw, dean of University Libraries, and Marsha McGriff, associate vice president for inclusive excellence, attended the event.

‘Donda’ vs. ‘Certified Lover Boy’

Donda and Certified Lover Boy amassed a great deal of attention when they dropped—for these are two of the most prominent artists of our generation. Both albums came out within four days of each other, with Kanye West releasing Donda first. West and Drake have famously been in a feud for years, so it’s only fair to ask the question: Which album is better?

Muncie’s attractions for the Ironman weekend

As approximately 3,500 athletes and their supporters migrate to Muncie Oct. 2 for the Ironman Triathlon, the city is planning a variety of related events to welcome business to the local area. Here’s a schedule of events leading up to the race.

Delta High School dominates homecoming

Delta High School had their homecoming game this past weekend against New Castle. Delta, who has struggled in conference games all year until this point, finally grabbed that elusive conference win, 49-12.

Working for an inclusive campus

Ball State University is working toward creating an inclusive campus. Many efforts have been made like Day of Dialogue, moving the Multicultural Center to the center of campus, highlighting cultures at the David Owsley Museum of Art and more.
