No matter if you are looking for a trip down nostalgia lane or introducing a younger generation to the world of Spyro, 'Reignited Trilogy' is a solid remaster of the classics. Even though lackluster gameplay and rushed design choices plague the experience from the start, it still comes off as enjoyable for both veterans and novices. Hopefully this eternal flame can find space to roar once again.
The Gulf Coast Showcase presented challenges for Ball State Women's Basketball (1-5, 0-0 MAC) as it moved to 0-3 in the tournament after falling to Quinnipiac (3-3, 0-0 MAAC), 69-66.
Ball State Men’s Basketball (3-3, 0-0 MAC) gave Evansville (2-3, 0-0 MVC) all it could handle in the Cardinals’ 82-72 win Saturday. Here are a few areas of the game that stood out.
In a neck-in-neck battle half way through the first half, redshirt junior guard KJ Walton would down 19 points in the first 20 minutes to give Ball State Men’s Basketball (3-3, 0-0 MAC) a substantial lead throughout the game and eventually a 82-72 win over Evansville (2-3, 0-0 MVC)
Duke (3-2, 0-0 ACC) tops Ball State Women’s Basketball (1-4, 0-0 MAC) in its third meeting in program history, but the game saw the Cardinals best performance of the three against the Blue Devils.

Ball State Women’s Basketball (1-3, 0-0 MAC) battled until the end, but it wasn’t enough as it fell short to Fordham (2-3, 0-0 Atlantic 10) in the first round of the Gulf Coast Showcase, 78-70.
‘Elastic Days’ is a moody, soft, and introspective album. The instrumentation helps put the listener into the world that the lyrics paint. The guitar solos are crisp and effective in bringing out the emotion of the lyrics. The contributors to the record add enough extra layers to certain songs to help expand the album’s sound. Near the end of the album, the music tires out and kept me wanting something different in sound.
'Origins' sounds like a car crash involving quite a lot of albums. Unfortunately, none of those albums happen to be good ones. Whether it is the flaccid, lifeless electro-pop and EDM, the overblown radio rock destined to plague arenas across the world, or the departures from those two sounds that should’ve been left on the cutting room floor, all the directions that Imagine Dragons attempt to go in lead to dead ends. Based on the consistently decreasing quality of their records, seeing how it could possibly get worse is the one thing worth anticipating for their future material.
