Setting a Season Standard

Following the conclusion of their historic season that included a Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship and a first NCAA Tournament win since 1995 in the 2021 season, Ball State Women’s Volleyball saw a transition period that included the departure of two assistant coaches, Tiffany Koors and Fritz Rosenberg, as well as four players.

Whether I was gravitating toward the approval of my parental figures or being the go-to-person for everyone when they were down or in need of assistance, I adopted a lifestyle of being a perfectionist — a lifestyle that consisted of being there for others as much as I wished someone was there for me.

Rocky Top Tennessee

Before and during Ball State Football's contest against the University of Tennessee Sept. 1, the gameday atmosphere engulfed Knoxville. Though the Cardinals lost 59-10, the players and coach were grateful for traveling Ball State fans support.

Cardinals fly to Tennessee for season opener

Each season, at least one of Ball State Football’s first games of the year is against a “Power-Five Conference” (Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, PAC-12 and ACC) program. To kick off the 2022 season, the Cardinals and the University of Tennessee Volunteers will square off at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee Sept. 1 in each program’s first game of the season.

Fighting Crime and Forging Connection

Ball State University Police Department (UPD) Chief Jim Duckham said he believes "community policing", establishing relationships with the Ball State and Muncie community, is the best way for the UPD to successfully do their job and make students feel safe.

Flying Towards the History Books

One of the numerous small city teams from the early age of the NFL came from the city which would become known as “Middletown.” In 1920, Muncie, Indiana, with a modest population of 36,000, became the home of a charter franchise of the future NFL.
