Ball State defeated Bowling Green State University 32-10 Saturday but lost the series finale Sunday. Despite a 9-3 loss that cost the Cardinals (13-17, 7-2) their second conference sweep in as many weekends, they were happy with their results.
A two-out, two-RBI single from Kristy Stratton, who was making just her third start of the season, was all the offense ace Elizabeth Milian needed as Ball State defeated Eastern Michigan 3-1 on Saturday at the BSU Softball Complex.

Junior Thekla Lorenz had another outstanding performance for Ball State, accounting for 22 points in individual events. Lorenz won the long jump event, posting a length of 5.73 meters. She also finished second in the javelin throw with a toss of 38.51 meters and fifth in the 100 meter hurdles (14.88 seconds).
Three Ball State University gymnasts ended their season today at the NCAA Central Regionals, as each represented the school in individual competition.
