Ball State comeback falls short in loss to UNCW

Sophomore pitcher B.J. Butler struck out six hitters over 4.1 shutout innings, but the Ball State baseball team fell to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, 4-2, at the Buffalo Wild Wings Battle @ the Beach at Wilmington, N.C.

Ball State improves to 4-2 with win over Bradley

The Ball State women's tennis team defeated Bradley 7-0 at the Muncie YMCA on Friday to improve to 4-2 on the season.  The win was the Cardinals' second straight overall. Ball State swept all three doubles matches to take the point. Junior Courtney Earnest paired with sophomore Rosalinda Calderon to defeat Alexa Brandt and Ashley Thai 6-3.

No. 2 Lewis sweeps Ball State

Taking on the No. 2 team in the nation, the Ball State men's volleyball team failed to end its losing streak as Lewis swept the Cardinals on Feb. 12.

Ball State welcomes new class

The Ball State Football team welcomed 24 new student-athletes from nine different states during its signing day festivities last week, looking to improve a roster that finished 5-7 last season.
