Ball State women's volleyball dominates at home

Ball State women's volleyball has dominated at home this season. Surrounded by friends, family and energetic crowds every time they step onto their court, the Cardinals can't help but play well at home.

Ball State field hockey season ends, practice continues

Ball State field hockey lost their season finale on Nov. 1, but within 48 hours, they were back out for another practice. The Cardinals' latest loss came at the mercy of Kent State, who left Briner Sports Complex with a 6-1 victory on a particularly sunny November afternoon. The loss gave Ball State an overall record of 2-16, while going 0-6 in Mid-American Conference play.

Women's Volleyball Raker named MAC West offensive player of the week

For the first time in her career, fifth year senior Amanda Raker was named the Mid-American Conference West offensive player of the week. The middle attacker earned the award after hitting a career best two-match performance for hitting a combined .850 (18-1-20) against conference rivals Toledo and Buffalo over the weekend. During Thursdays sweep against Toledo, Raker had nine kills on all nine attempts, posting a perfect 1.000 attack percentage, making her the first to have a perfect attack percentage with at least seven attempts in the rally scoring era dating back to 2001. This was also the first time Raker hit above .500 in her entire career.

Men's volleyball set to play UCLA

Head men’s volleyball Coach Joel Walton and his team will travel to Los Angeles on March 7, 2016 where they will face off against 19-time NCAA champions UCLA.  The two programs who have the most wins in NCAA history have agreed to the nonconference match up which will be the first time the teams will have seen each other since 2011.

Ball State snaps losing streak, defeats UMass on Halloween

Halloween's 24-10 win over the University of Massachusetts gave Ball State its most complete game since September’s loss at Northwestern. The offense put together a combination of production through the air and on the ground, while the defense held the opposition to just 10 points.

Ball State soccer MAC tournament preview

Ball State soccer will go into the Mid-American Conference tournament ranked as the No. 1 seed. The Cardinals finished with a 14-3-2 overall record, finishing with a 10-1 conference record.

Ball State looks for win against Sharpe, UMass

On Halloween, the Ball State Cardinals will face off against a wide receiver with a proven history against them. University of Massachusetts senior wide receiver Tajae Sharpe had a career day against Ball State last season, hauling in 13 grabs for 239 yards.
