Ball State (11-10, 3-6 MAC) fell 81-72 to Bowling Green (15-6, 6-3 MAC) to snap a previous two-game win streak. The Cardinals return to action Saturday, Feb. 3 when they travel to Kalamazoo for a 2 p.m. contest against Western Michigan (8-13, 5-4 MAC).
Despite having four Cardinals in double-digits, Ball State fell to Bowling Green 81-72.
The Owls led 13-5 at the end of the first and then led 28-14 at halftime. The Blackhawks were able to cut the lead down to 6 a couple of times in the third quarter but were unable to take a lead.

After the win against Toledo Sunday night, Ball State handled Miami (OH) Jan. 24. Saturday afternoon ended up being their third game in a span of six days. Because the win against the Rockets was an important one emotionally, Sallee said knew his team would embrace the task at hand.

After Ball State’s four leading scorers left the program, Basheer Jihad has become the Cardinals’ No. 1 option in 2023-24.

Ball State Men's Tennis defeated Xavier University with a 5-2 win. This continues their 2-0 win streak against Xavier and is their third straight win on the season.
