Ball State women's tennis prepares for Bowling Green match

   After its 15 match win-streak was snapped last Sunday, the Ball State Women’s Tennis team (18-3, 5-1 MAC) will face conference rival Bowling Green (2-15, 0-4 MAC) on Sunday.    The Bowling Green Falcons are the first of the last two teams that stand in the way of the Cardinals’ search for their first regular season Mid-American Conference title in program history.

Ball State softball travels to Eastern Michigan

Ball State softball dropped to fourth in the Mid-American Conference West Division rankings and is set to play the team directly above it: Eastern Michigan. Ball State (18-23, 4-8 MAC) travels to Eastern Michigan (15-23, 5-6 MAC) for a three-game series April 15-16.

MIVA continues to compete among best in NCAA men's volleyball

The 2015 NCAA men’s volleyball championship was the first time two teams from the same conference, other than the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, played in the championship. Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association rivals Loyola and Lewis played in the conference championship that year.


Ball State baseball swept Western Michigan in its three-game series, outscoring the Broncos 41-6.

Ball State to play at Indiana University

Ball State baseball (21-12, 7-2 MAC) will take its Mid-American Conference-best offense to Bloomington April 13 when it takes on Indiana University (17-13, 4-2 Big Ten), which has the Big Ten's second-best pitching staff. In the National Collegiate Athletic Association RPI, the Cardinals ranked 118th, 49 spots ahead of the No. 167 Hoosiers.

Weekend in athletics: April 8-10

Baseball Ball State outscored Mid-American Conference rival Western Michigan 41-6 over its three-game home streak. After canceling the original opener on April 8, the teams rescheduled for a doubleheader on April 10. The Cardinals followed up its 7-2 opening win with two more, winning them 21-1 and 13-3.
