After having its first home game of the season rained out and this week’s matchup rescheduled due to weather, Ball State softball opened up its series with Kent State Friday.
Ball State softball (23-10, 5-1 MAC) opens play at home against Kent State (17-13, 3-3 MAC) this weekend. After sweeping Akron on the road last weekend and combining for 30 runs in a two-day span, the team looks forward to competing at home.

At the end of their spring break campaign, the Cardinals improved to 15-8 on the season and went 6-6 over the course of the week.
