A hug can communicate warmth and love without saying a word. For LGBTQ+ individuals rejected by family members, a hug from Free Mom Hugs staff resembles affection they may not receive from those of their own household.
Muncie OUTreach, Delaware County’s LGBTQ youth group, organized Muncie Pride for a second year at Canan Commons Park on Saturday. The festival was 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As a part of Pride Month, June 30th is scheduled to play host to "Everything Queer" from 1:00- 3:30 p.m. at the Student Center at Ball State University. There are set to be three events hosted in Student Center Room 301 during this time frame.
