Geoffrey S. Mearns began his first day as Ball State's 17th president with a tour through campus led by student tour guides, Diamonds Holsey and Jonathan Wallisch.
Volunteers started painting the side of the Mark III Taproom on May 13 as part of the On the Mark, For the City mural project created by the We're Trying Collective. The mural will illustrate the Muncie community's acceptance and support for all people.

University Singers 53rd Annual Spectacular took place in John R. Emens Auditorium on April 7. University Singers is a live entertainment organization in the nature of a show choir.
The Jive Aces performed on April 6 at John J. Pruis Hall. The swing band placed third in Britain's Got Talent in 2012 and was the only band to advance to the semi-finals.
