Intended to be finished in the summer of 2020, a new residence hall joins the group of northside dorms. This new residence hall is located directly next to Johnson A and across from the new dining facility.

Campus Master Plan Update

Whether you live on campus or attend class once a week, you’ve probably noticed that on each end of McKinley Avenue, there are cranes looming in the air. Cranes and metal fences aren’t always the prettiest sight, but they signal changes and renovations. In Ball State’s case, there’s a lot of both going on.

Blake’s Beats: Why I’m regretfully excited about the NFL season

Sundays used to be a holy day. The living room was my church, and I prayed with conviction to the altar of National Football League.  I would stroll into the old RCA Dome with my grandfather, knowing nothing else other than I was happy if the team with blue horseshoes on their helmets won, and I was so unreasonably sad if they lost.   I was blissfully ignorant to the carnage happening in front of me, and behind the scenes too.

Cardinals drop final 2 matches of Northern Kentucky Tournament

Ball State (4-5, 0-0 MAC) went into the weekend at 3-3 on the season looking to leave Highland Heights, Kentucky, with an above .500 record. The Cardinals were off to a good start Friday, defeating Northern Kentucky in five sets, but they were unable to reach their goal after a pair of losses Saturday against Cincinnati and Notre Dame.

Ball State loses turnover battle, game to Florida Atlantic

Ball State was down 17 with less than five minutes to play. It had to go for it on fourth-and-6. The Cardinals (1-2, 0-0 MAC) didn’t make it and turned the ball over to Florida Atlantic (1-2, 0-0 CUSA). It was the Cardinals’ fifth turnover of the day. Three drives and four minutes later, the Owls locked up a 41-31 victory.
