Loud and Clear: Christmas in a drink

Each holiday has that one food that completely polarises humanity as much as politics. It can range from something simple as candy corn on Halloween to something as personal as cranberry relish on Thanksgiving.

How to improve YouTube Rewind 2019

From the unknown YouTubers to the Fortnite dances, there was nothing that I loved about this video. So YouTube, if you’re reading this, and chances are you’re not (Because why would you click on a random college publication’s article?), but if by some chance you are, I am throwing my name into the ring for your next hire.

‘DUMMY BOY’ stands with unbalanced, crooked legs

There are many aspects of 6ix9ine’s music that work for a very niche  audience. Unfortunately, that fact is proven time and time again when  listening to his first studio album and its lack of strong originality.  If this happens to be the last we hear of 6ix9ine in the foreseeable  future, DUMMY BOY is not the caliber of work he should be remembered by.

Earl Sweatshirt returns with a new sound for hip/hop on ‘Some Rap Songs’

Earl Sweatshirt has created an original tragedy with 'Some Rap Songs.'  The instrumentals establish tones that are complemented perfectly by the  lyrics and samples. His performances and flows across the album make  each song stand out on its own where not one song sounds the same on the  record. Even though the record is 25 minutes, it feels full, making it  an accomplishment in modern hip-hop.

Loud and Clear: The parasite

Good morning. It’s going to get better.  I repeat these phrases over and over. From the very moment I open my eyes all throughout the day until I close them once again.

REVIEW: ‘Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo’ Episode 7: “Sex Pistols Appears, Part 1”

“Sex Pistols Appears, Part 1” is a delightfully entertaining episode  that fleshes out one of its core cast members and delivers on comedy.  While there are some mild pacing issues and Sex Pistols might be a  recycled Stand idea from Stardust Crusaders, it doesn’t detract from the  episode’s overall entertainment value, featuring some very creative  dance animation and fun character dynamics.

‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ is a smashing success

‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’, despite a potentially regressive narrative  for its’ lead and some clear cuts made for time that leave some loose  ends to be hastily tied in the last five minutes, manages to meet and  even surpass the high expectations one would have coming out of the  original.

Run-On Sentences: A backward step for Michigan

During midterm elections my home state of Michigan passed Proposal 1 56-44, making it the first Midwest state to legalize recreational marijuana. The state legalized medical marijuana in 2008, and to many in the state, it was only a matter of time before it was legalized in full.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy’ – Reunited with an old friend

No matter if you are looking for a trip down nostalgia lane or  introducing a younger generation to the world of Spyro, 'Reignited  Trilogy' is a solid remaster of the classics. Even though lackluster  gameplay and rushed design choices plague the experience from the start,  it still comes off as enjoyable for both veterans and novices.  Hopefully this eternal flame can find space to roar once again.
