As a huge fan of Starkid Productions, I anxiously anticipated the YouTube release of their newest show, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, for months. I was honestly prepared to be disappointed; after their last show, Firebringer, I wasn’t expecting much. However, this show exceeded my expectations and evoked the infectiously fun and campy feeling of earlier Starkid shows like A Very Potter Musical and Starship.
At the end of the day, 'Vice' does a great job of portraying a man like Dick Cheney even-handedly.
'Welcome to Marwen' is not worth seeing on any level. Impressive animation and strong actors cannot save the terrible script, unlikeable characters, and weird, regressive implications that the film makes.
If you’re a fan of the original, this one is a nice continuation of the first one, especially through the cameos and easter eggs, but overall, it is not actually needed after the first one.
‘Aquaman’ is a big surprise from the DCEU, doing the impossible in making something fairly watchable. The characters are fun, the visuals are stunning, and the action is the most well-directed it has ever been for the franchise.
While 'Bird Box' is competently made, it fails to separate itself from other media with similar premises.

'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' is an utterly astounding love letter to and reexamination of the 'Spider-Man' mythos as we know it.
“Narancia’s Aerosmith” is not only one of ‘Vento Aureo’’s best episodes thus far, it’s one of the big stand-outs in the entirety of the ‘Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure’ anime.

Normally, a day where you get new albums from Earl Sweatshirt, The 1975 and Meek Mill would constitute a reason to rejoice.
'Super Smash Bros. Ultimate' is a miracle game that will only happen once every 100 years. Despite a few hiccups here and there, the game manages to far outdo the hype it’s generated since its announcement. The insanely huge roster allows for all sorts of unique match ups. Couple the roster with the World of Light and you’ve got a game that’s easily worth more than the standard $60.
'Persona Dancing: Endless Night’ is a blast for 'Persona' and rhythm fans but is also pretty much just for them. Despite a lack of any sort of musical controller peripheral, the games make great use out of the PS4 controller.
‘Mortal Engines’ is quite possibly the worst of the worst when it comes to YA adaptations. It looks great, but with all of the flaws under the hood, it’s hard to really recommend seeing this movie.
“Hitman’s Team” was an episode to be remembered as it showed us great animation and a fight that had classic 'Jojo' flair. It definitely was a winner and brought a bigger sense of urgency to Bucciarati’s gang and their mission.
Welcome back to the last episode of Animation A-Team for this semester! On this week's episode, we discuss the many live-action adaptations of anime that have had many difficulties. Why do these films keep missing the mark, and how should they improve for the future? Join us on this week's episode of Animation A-Team to hear our thoughts on the matter.
“The First Mission from the Boss” is a pretty good episode that integrates an interesting new character into the cast and introduces some new unique Stand abilities.
The 1975's newest album, ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships,’ provides an honest and scathing take on modern day relationships and modern society as a whole.
