Federal court upholds Indiana right to work

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A federal appeals court upheld Indiana’s right-to-work law banning mandatory union fees on Tuesday in a split decision that was delivered a few days before the state Supreme Court hears separate challenges over whether the 2012 measure violates the state constitution.

Group says world is losing battle against Ebola

The international group Doctors Without Borders warned Tuesday “the world is losing the battle against Ebola” and lamented that treatment centers in West Africa have been “reduced to places where people go to die alone.”In separate remarks after a United Nations meeting on the crisis, the World Health Organization chief said everyone involved had underestimated the outbreak, which has now killed more than 1,500 people in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

Employees required to take sexual assault training
