VIDEO: Cooper Science under construction

Students in the 2022 CCIM + Summer Experience workshop at Ball State University composed a four-minute video with two sources talking about the current reconstruction of the Cooper Science Complex. Sources and photos in the video show the active construction as well as the desired goal.


Finished in 1937, the Beneficence statue or “Benny” was the last piece of work commissioned from sculptor Daniel Chester French. Isaac Miller, the video media intern at the Ball State Foundation, was able to capture Beneficence during sunset in February 2021. Isaac F. Miller, Contributor, DN File
STUDENT APPLICATIONS

Navigate Student takes over for bConnected

As of May 31, 2022, the student application "bConnected" has been discontinued, meaning it can no longer be downloaded from the Apple or Android app stores, and September 2, 2022 marks the date the application will no longer function. In its place, "Navigate Student" is the new destination for all things bConnected offered to students.

4 Ball State graduates selected for Fulbright U.S. Student Program

Of the 14 semifinalists in the 2022 competition, four recent Ball State University graduates have been selected to be a part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Each graduate has been selected for an English Teaching Assistantship (ETA), where they will help students in their host countries develop English language skills, and serve as cultural ambassadors between nations.

Alumni sets out on new film project

Brandon Townsend, a Ball State University alumni who majored in telecommunications with a focus in video production, has started pre-production for his next movie. Titled “Comfort Zone”, a psychological thriller, is set to touch on themes of addiction, guilt, loneliness and shame.
