Democratic and Republican Headquarters react to Delaware County election results

The county clerk released the unofficial election summary report, with 46 of the 52 precincts reporting, including that official election results will be finalized in the next two weeks. Here is a break down of the election day results:
Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour won a second term Tuesday, defeating Democratic nominee and former City Council President Jeff Robinson.
The Office of Inclusive Excellence and the Ball State Center for Peace and Conflict Studies hosted a peace vigil for the Israel-Palestine conflict Nov. 1.
Student government association approves budget request for community garden improvements and has a visit from Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Tiffany Peters.
Anand R. Marri will serve as Ball State University's next provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, according to an email to students from University President Geoffrey Mearns Oct. 31.
A man opened fire at a bowling alley and a bar in Lewiston, Maine, on Wednesday night, killing at least 16 people and engulfing the state's second-largest city in chaos. The suspect remained at large as authorities ordered residents and business owners to stay inside and off the streets. Two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press dozens of people also had been wounded. The officials were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the ongoing investigation and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.

On Aug. 29, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb approved a nearly $30 million grant to enhance Indiana school security—The Secured School Safety Grant. The grant, funded through House Bill 1492, was enacted Sept. 1.
The 23rd annual Chase Charlie race took place on Saturday, Oct. 21. The event is put on by the sports administration program's class Event Management in Sport. Runners went from Muncie City Hall to Emens Auditorium.

CAST’s main goal is to help individuals with autism smoothly transition out of high school depending on their intended career path, whether through college or not, by working with parents and teachers to increase employment chances for each student. The program enables one of the first transition-planning intervention projects backed up by research to come to both the Department of Special Education and the Department of Educational Psychology.
