The Cardinals need good placement. That is the main thing sophomore Stephanie McElhaney believes her team needs to improve as her cross country team heads to Bradley University on Oct. 14.
With a time of 18:30.7, freshman Emily Tromp won the Cardinal Duals meet Sept. 23. For her performance, she was named the Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week by the MAC coaches. This is the first time a runner from Ball State has received this award since Ali Bishel in 2007. Tromp was humble when asked what the award meant to her.
