Ball State Hispanic enrollment increases

Although both African-American and Native-American enrollment has dropped at Ball State, the number of Hispanic and Latino undergraduates enrolled at Ball State has more than doubled in five years. Undergraduate Hispanic enrollment has risen from 350 in 2008-09 to 562 in 2013-14 according to the Diversity Committee Report through recruitment and multiculturalism.




The Student Government Association ended the fall semester with seven out of 17 platform points completed. The executive board is looking forward to accomplish more platforms points this semester. DN PHOTO BREANNA DAUGHERTY

SGA looks to continue to accomplish platform points

The Student Government Association's executive slate is looking forward to accomplishing as many of their platform points as they can this semester. Some of those points are set to be accomplished this week.  The goal to start an on campus food pantry for students has become a reality as of Wednesday evening.
