$13.1 million fraud investigation ends

More than four years after Ball State found out it may have been a victim of fraud, the investigation has concluded. $13.1 million in investments was lost after Gale Prizevoits, the former director of cash and investments, made investments in violation of university policy and tried to conceal it. She was fired in October 2011.

Sunshine and 60s ahead for our weekend!

Weather forecaster Holly Beemer has a look at your weekend weather forecast. Spring like temperatures make their way into the state for Friday and the weekend. Highs will be near 60 degrees with plenty of sunshine Saturday, and a possible rain shower Sunday morning. Cooler temperatures return for next week. 




Marina Galvani, economist and curator of the World Bank Art program, spoke at the David Owsley Museum of Art on Feb. 16 about the concept of the "1 in 3: What Does It Take for You To Be Outraged?" on display. David Owsley exhibit exposes global issue of gender-based violence

More than one in three women around the world are beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during their lifetimes, according to the World Health Organization. This global issue of gender-based violence is being portrayed through an art exhibit in the David Owsley Museum of Art.

Puppies come to Park Hall to de-stress students

Park Hall’s seminar room was transformed into a puppy playground on Feb. 16. For the second year in a row, the Muncie Animal Shelter and Ball State teamed up to put together Puppies in Park, which gave students an opportunity for students to play with dogs.
