Holcomb appoints a new member to Ball State Board of Trustees

Ball State University graduate, William “Craig” Dobbs, was appointed as the newest member of Ball State’s Board of Trustees by Gov. Eric Holcomb Dec. 4. The head of The Dobbs Group, a financial consulting firm in Carmel, Indiana, Dobbs earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1986 from Ball State and his Master of business administration at Notre Dame.

The fear tied to ageism is growing old

In our society, youth equates to beauty, but it shouldn’t be such a prominent point where it leads to fear. We need to stop ranking women by their age, looks or physical appeal. Women are more than the year they were born or their “fading” youth.

Meteorological fall refers to the months of September, October, and November. Meteorologists use the term "meteorological fall" in reference to the annual temperature cycles. Astronomical fall is what most people are used to and that is based off of Earth's position to the sun (this year: September 23rd - December 21st).
