“This Union is a place where you can meet new people around campus with the same heritage and cultural background as you,” Avila said. “It helped me a lot this year to make new friends coming in as a freshman.”

“We have worked hard to make this work,” said Ridenour. “It’s taking lots that we own that are not generating taxes and we’ll put homes on them, and we’re really excited about that investment into our neighborhoods that are so important to us.”

Cardinals place eighth at the Falcon Florida Classic.

The Ball State Women’s Golf team place eighth out of 12 teams, shooting an 898 total through three rounds at the Falcon Flordia Classic. The Ball State’s five-person lineup consisted of junior Kiah Parrott, freshman Sarah Gallagher, freshman Jasmine Driscoll, freshman Madelin Boyd and graduate student Peyton Broce.

Ball State University Student Government Association tickets debate platform points

Ball State University’s Student Government Association (SGA) held the introduction to the tickets, the candidates, Feb. 7 at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center. The two tickets are “Empower” with Presidential Nominee Skylar Ellis, in SGA’s On-Campus Caucus, and Vice Presidential Nominee Taylor Perry, in SGA’s At-Large Caucus, and "Gassensmith & Lindstrand" with Joseph Gassensmith, current chief of staff, and Monet Lindstrand, current vice president.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Ball State powers to 4th straight win on the road

This is a special season. Ball State (17-7, 8-3 MAC) now has its best record since 1998 and is showing no signs of slowing down. Tonight, the Cardinals traveled to Mount Pleasant, Michigan to take on Central Michigan (8-16, 3-8 MAC) and left with a win. At the beginning of the game, the Chippewas came out shooting hot and playing good defense. At first, the Cardinals didn’t adapt.
