MUNCIE, Ind. — Belle Creations is a locally owned Keepsake Box business. It's known for the box's unique designs and for holding onto important memories.
These boxes have touched the lives of many individuals, from giving them as gifts to having a sentimental meaning to them.
Jennifer Amos, owner of Belle Creations, explains that before she started the business she wasn’t happy with her life. Amos was working at a toxic job and wasn’t thrilled with the way how life was. So she decided to take things back into her own hands.
After doing so, Amos resigned from her job and pursued listening to her inner voice. That’s when Belle Creations came to life. It first started as a gift for Mother’s Day, but since they received so much positivity, Amos decided to make a business out of it.
Amos expresses how positive the community is to her with her business. To her, they are the best support system when she needs it most.
“It’s just, it’s amazing. I’ve got the best support system toward my community. It’s just been amazing. And people love it, and I know to to deal with it, and the feedback has been great.”
It’s made a huge impact on not only her but also her family as well. With the help of her son, not only was she able to let her creativity grow but the bond between them grew stronger. Amos' son, Alec Upchurch, expressed just how proud he is of her.
“I was very proud of her bravery to do that, because, you know the biggest pain in life, having the pain of regret. And I don’t want her to regret not doing what she wanted to do,” Said Upchurch.
