Tonight: High clouds that streamed in for another nice sunset earlier will thicken through the night, and we have a shot at some isolated snow showers for the earliest of folks out the door, between 3-6 pm. Temps do go below freezing & visibility could lower in some of these snow showers, but it is dry & we will have a hard time getting this shower activity to accumulate, but the upper-level energy we are working with could compensate for that, so be careful on the way out!
Tomorrow: Absolutely sensational tomorrow as we get those clouds to clear out for the most part, allowing us to warm to 48° under light winds & drier conditions. Clouds do thicken up again as we are tracking another system with the possibility of some showers in the afternoon Thursday.
7-day Forecast: Winter returns this weekend with temps below freezing in the outlying areas like Grant, Blackford or Jay counties especially Saturday. Watch those weekend morning lows as they drop solidly into the 20s with some frost/freeze to scrape off the windows. We warm back up to where we were today (and then some perhaps ) as we say hello to next week!
