MUNCIE, Ind. (NEWSLINK) - The holidays are approaching quickly, along with family dinners. The Black Student Association (BSA), and with the Second Harvest Food Drive, wants to be certain that everyone has food on the table.
Second Harvest is a food bank that helps feed families, children and seniors in the community.
During their volunteer time, BSA helped unpackage canned goods and pack them into bags to give to families. They also helped sweep and clean Second Harvest.
BSA President Nadia Tillman said, “This was BSA's first service event, and they were thrilled about giving back to the community.”
BSA is an organization on campus for minorities socially and academically. Students in this organization would say BSA is like a small family.
This small family wanted to bring joy and food to other families this holiday season.
