MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) -- Indiana State Police have completed an investigation from a Muncie police chase in March.
The chase ended on Centennial Ave. near Minnetrista when the driver was shot by police after shooting at police and other civilians. The two officers who shot at Johnathon Levi Allen, 28, did so in self-defense and the defense of others.
Allen was taken to Ball Memorial Hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds and later died. The full press release is linked below:
