MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink) -- After the snowstorm earlier this week Sara Ranee, the housing advocate of Bridges Community Services, decided to finally have a day off after working through the pandemic and work from home.
Then, she received a call from one of their people who are currently living on the streets to come over and see some damage that was done to their building.
When they arrived, they noticed their front door being shattered after someone threw a brick at it.
“We think it might have been done out of frustration. Obviously, we would still invite that person back in and not deny them services, ” Ranee said.
With funds down because of the pandemic, they are having trouble finding the funds to replace it.
“Literally, it's taking away from our services and counting to provide to the community though the winter and pandemic,” Ranee said.
