MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) -- Living on the north side of campus you either hear or see the work on the Lafollette building.
Jim Lowe, associate vice president of facilities and planning at Ball State, said, “The demolition of Lafollette actually had its origin about 10 years ago, so even though we just started demolishing it last summer we took a wing of it down."
So what's next for the space?
“That will become a green space for students living in the neighborhood much like the Lafollette field,” said Lowe.
The demolition on the Knotts/Edwards side is nearing completion and the Brayton/Clevenger Hall is still open as a housing unit for those who are sick with COVID-19.
