Students joined Pi Beta Phi and Phi Delta Theta for Paint Warz on Sept. 30 in the University Green. Paint Warz had several games including tug of war, obstacle courses, twister, dodgeball, and more. All proceeds went to the ALS foundation.
The top 10 homecoming nominees were announced on Sept. 26 in John J. Pruis Hall. Over 60 nominees dressed up to match the homecoming theme, Around the World.
The first ever Puppies and Pumpkins event took place on Sept. 24 at Wasson Nursery. The event was held for the community to adopt furry friends and donate to animal shelters.
Ball State played Western Kentucky on Sept. 23 at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. The Cardinals lost 21-33.
The 45th Annual Watermelon Bust took place on Sept. 23 in LaFollette Field. The event was hosted by Alpha Chi Omega and the Delta Tau Deltas to raise money for children with diabetes and victims of domestic abuse. Almost a truck load of watermelons were donated by a local watermelon farm for students to participate in team competitions.
The Put Yourself in Her Heels event took place on Sept. 23 in downtown Muncie. The walk was held by YMCA bring awareness to the programs they have and the daily difficulties that women and children face.
Bark for Life took place on Sept. 23 at Morrow's Meadow in Yorktown, Indiana. Bark for Life is a fundraising dog walk that contributes to cancer cures and programs that help people with cancer.
