Building the Bridge

After two years of cancellations, the Muncie Bridge Dinner returned Thursday. The event, held on the Washington Street bridge in Muncie, attracted members of the community, including Muncie locals and Ball State University students.

A Constant Need

The Soup Kitchen of Muncie, Panther Pantry and Cardinal Kitchen teamed up for their food drive Sept. 17, "Stuff-A-Bus". While the three organizations serve three different segments of the Muncie community, they all aim to address hunger and food security.



Political breakdown of Indiana's abortion law

As of Thursday, Sept. 15, all Indiana abortion clinic licenses have been suspended, any abortions being performed in the state have to meet “specific time frames and conditions” noted in the law, and any violations can result in the loss of a physician’s licensing.


Batman travels to local schools

“The best part about this job is knowing that when I walk away from the school I’ve left something behind that will impact their lives and change the community for the better. Maybe it’ll save some lives or empower some kids,” Buckland said.



Nalox-box’ installed at Ball Memorial

Cardinals draw in MAC opener

Ball State (1-3-3, 0-0-1 MAC) headed East to their neighboring state, Ohio to battle it out on the field at Miami University (4-2-2, 0-0-2 MAC).  The Cardinals scored twice quickly to go up 2-0 before the Red-Hawks swooped in putting two on the board, resulting in a 2-2 draw.
