With the holiday season rolling around, a great last minute gift to grab is a video game. Even those who aren’t super game-inclined can get a lot of use out of a new game console or new game. The only question is deciding which games are naughty (read: terrible) and which games are nice. Here’s a quick guide to great game purchases this holiday season.
While holiday music might be overplayed by the time the new year comes around, hearing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” on the radio is a sure-fire way to tell when it is officially Christmas time. However, while most people can name an endless list of Christmas carols and standards, there are not too many albums that could be considered Christmas staples. “Sex Pistols Appears, Part 1” is a delightfully entertaining episode that fleshes out one of its core cast members and delivers on comedy. ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’, despite a potentially regressive narrative for its’ lead and some clear cuts made for time that leave some loose ends to be hastily tied in the last five minutes, manages to meet and even surpass the high expectations one would have coming out of the original.
It might be different, but 'Delta' is nothing special or wildly unexpected from Mumford & Sons. It’s simply a work of offbeat mediocrity.
Overall, 'The Crimes of Grindelwald' is a jumbled mess that fails to build on the previous installment. While the film does show Grindelwald, the plot stumbles with drama completely unrelated to the villain. This, along with poorly edited visuals, creates a dull sense of imagination to any fan of the Harry Potter universe.
