by Jeremy Rogers The largest hobby gaming convention in North America has stated in a recent press release that they have run out of 4 day passes for the event being held August 17-20 at the Lucas Oil Stadium and Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. “Though 4-Day badges have sold out for Gen Con 50 there are still many opportunities to attend the convention and take part in the celebration,” said Adrian Swartout, CEO/Owner of Gen Con LLC. “Family Fun Day badges provide a great opportunity for visitors who wish to sample the show for the first time. Anyone still interested in attending Gen Con 50 should purchase their badges soon.” Single day passes are still available for the long running event. Fans of tabletop gaming can still purchase passes on gencon.com with will call for tickets starting Wednesday, August 16 and staying open until the convention is over. If current trends hold, many believe that single day passes will eventually sell out as well.
