MUNCIE, Ind. -- Severe weather struck through Muncie and the surrounding area around 10 p.m. April 3.
Confirmed funnel clouds touched down near Cammack, west of Muncie in the Yorktown area, as well near Nebo Road and Indiana 28. Strong winds left buildings damaged, and power lines down throughout the area. Eaton reported winds of up to 100 mph according to Fox59.
Several homes have been damaged in the area of Delaware County roads 500-North and 500-West, and in the 7700 block of West Indiana 28 according to Jeff Stanley, chief deputy of the Delaware County Sheriff's Department. Indiana 28 is to be closed to traffic north of Muncie in order to remove of some of the downed lines.
As of 9:00 a.m. April 3, approximately 5,132 are without power in the Muncie area, and over 99,000 across Indiana.
While the Delaware County tornado watch ended at 4 a.m. on April 3rd, Delaware County is still under a flash flood warning until April 6th at 8 a.m..

There have been multiple reports of severe damage, including shattered glass, on Ball State's campus and surrounding Delaware County.
Reports of approximately 20,000 power outages in Delaware County, and 140,000 across Indiana.
