On the third full day in Cleveland, the Daily News Sports Team covered the Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinals games.
Elijah Poe and Logan Connor covered the game, while photographers Titus Slaughter, Andrew Berger and Zach Carter got amazing photos. Social media specialist Derran Cobb recorded social media content and did a “day in the life” of the group.
After covering the games, the team went to lunch at a taco spot near the arena. Carter then went to the MAC commissioners’ round table for the media where he wrote a column.
Poe, Cobb and Connor went to the arena to watch the semifinal matchups of the men’s bracket before the group went down the street for dinner.
The team called it quits early with a bright and early wake up call for the 11 a.m. MAC Championship game tomorrow.
