Chelsea Murdock and Shaina Miller have been elected president and vice president of the Student Government Association for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Director of Student Life Abby Haworth confimed Tuesday that out of 428 voters, Murdock and Miller's "Momentum" ticket secured 399 votes, representing 93% of the vote.
Running unopposed in this election, they topped the write-in ticket "No Confidence," which received 29 votes and represented 7% of the vote.
During the election, the "Momentum" ticket ran on these five platform points: safety, sustainability, transparency, campus well-being and sense of belonging.
Murdock and Miller are set to be inaugurated on Wednesday, April 16, at 3:15 p.m. in Cardinal Hall B at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.
