Day in the life of the Dodgeball Club Ball State’s carefree sports club offers students an opportunity to unwind

Ball State University has several clubs for students to join on campus.

MUNCIE, Ind. –Ball State University has several clubs for students to join on campus. One sports club that stands out to several students is the Dodgeball Club. It allows students to have fun and not think about school. It provides competition for students who like dodgeball and enables people to form new friendships.

Several Ball State students attended the meeting to participate in dodgeball games. The club has been around since 2022, and attendance has grown ever since. The group averages 20-40 students per meeting.

“The club averages around 40-12 people depending on what your schedule is going to be throughout the week; we play music to make the atmosphere great,” said CJ, a dodgeball club member. “Dodgeball Club is a pretty cool club to join; it is relaxing, suitable for the campus, and not a publicly known club.”

It is a place where students can be themselves, giving them a feeling of their childhood.

The club has seen growth from Ball State’s Benny Link website. It is a great tool to use if you are looking for engaging clubs and activities. It helps students discover what organizations are out there, getting them away from their schoolwork to enjoy their time in college.
