John R. Emens Outstanding Senior Award – Applications Open
The John R. Emens Award recognizes a senior for their achievements and contributions to Ball State as an undergraduate student during the May Commencement ceremony. The award is named in honor of Dr. John Emens, former president of Ball State University.
There is a two-step process for the award. The nominator must submit a letter and the nominator form. The nominee must complete the nominee application form. A nomination application is only considered complete when both the nominator and nominee submit materials online by the 5 p.m. March 9, 2025, deadline.

Publishing as a Graduate Student
Are you a graduate student with questions about publishing? Join Dr. Thalia Mulvihill, Dr. Laura O’Hara, and Dr. Carolyn Shue for a panel on getting an article published in a journal, turning seminar papers into conference papers, and writing advice!
