Monday (Feb. 3)

Tuesday (Feb. 4)
Daleville girls’ basketball hit the hardwood against Tri-Central and downed the Trojans 53-29. No stats could be found.
Muncie Central girls’ basketball began postseason play against Anderson and fell 44-39. No stats could be found.
Cowan girls’ basketball took on Wes-Del, defeating the Warriors 69-35. Blackhawks’ sophomore Savannah Hall registered 31 points to lead the scoring. For the maroon and black, sophomore Caroline Caward notched 17 points of her own to lead the Warriors.
Yorktown girls’ basketball clashed with New Castle in the opening round of sectional play, beating the Trojans 32-26. The Tigers were led by junior Lily Sylvester with 15 points.
Delta girls’ basketball faced off against Hamilton Heights and took down the Huskies 63-37. Eagles junior Addy Barnes tallied 20 points in the contest.
Muncie Burris girls’ basketball ended its season with a loss to Alexandria-Monroe 76-18. No stats could be found.

Daleville boys’ basketball traveled to conference foe Randolph Southern and fell in the matchup 61-49. No stats could be found.
Muncie Central boys’ basketball hit the road to take on conference rival Marion, but fell to the Giants 76-55. The Bearcats were led by junior point guard Shemar Taylor with 16 points.
Yorktown boy’s basketball traveled to Pendleton Heights for a conference clash. The Tigers fell to the Arabians 66-42. Yorktown junior Jabin Barnes led the charge for the green and white with 13 points.
Delta boys’ basketball took on Greenfield-Central, falling to the Cougars 55-47. No stats could be found.
Wes-Del boys’ basketball faced off with Eastern and downed the Comets 61-43. The maroon and black were led by senior Josiah Love with 22 points.
Muncie Burris boys’ basketball hit the hardwood against Anderson Prep Academy in a conference clash. The Owls fell in the matchup 72-43. The blue and white were led by senior Gavin Mitchell with 16 points.
Friday (Feb. 7)
Wapahani girls’ basketball began sectional play against Eastbrook and advanced, defeating the Panthers 57-52. No stats could be found.
Daleville girls' basketball faced county rival Cowan in the sectional semi-finals. The Broncos defeated the Blackhawks 57-25. No stats could be found.
Yorktown girls’ basketball took on Connersville, downing the Spartans 49-42. Tigers’ junior Lily Sylvester notched 27 points in the matchup to lead the scoring.
Delta girls’ basketball clashed with Jay County for a chance to advance to the sectional championship. The Eagles took the victory 59-38. No stats could be found.
Saturday (Feb. 8)
Wapahani boys’ basketball went on the road to clash with Union. The Raiders downed the Rockets 83-35. No stats could be found.
Wapahani girls’ basketball played for a sectional championship against Alexandria-Monroe but fell 54-23. No stats could be found.
Daleville boys’ basketball hosted Seton Catholic and fell to the Cardinals 69-49. No stats could be found.
Daleville girls’ basketball competed for a sectional championship against North Miami. The Broncos season came to a close in a 47-41 loss to the Warriors. No stats could be found.
Cowan boys’ basketball hit the hardwood against MEC rival Eastern Hancock. The Blackhawks fell to the Royals 68-21. Senior Gentry Groves led the black and yellow with ten points.
Wes-Del boys’ basketball clashed with Madison-Grant in a home matchup. The Warriors dropped the contest 63-53. Junior Julian Carpenter led the maroon and black with 27 points.
Muncie Burris boys’ basketball faced Cambridge City Lincoln and fell 90-40. Owls’ senior Gavin Mitchell led the blue and yellow with ten points.
