Spring 2025 Workshops on Grant Topics

The Sponsored Projects Administration will be offering various workshops for faculty, students, staff, and administrators who wish to learn more about funding, grants, and other development opportunities

Sessions are available through the SPA website; here you can register for sessions and see more details. New sessions will be added throughout the semester, up till April.

The Sponsored Projects Administration department offers education opportunities like programs, scholarships, and professional development for the Ball State community.

Free HIV/STI Testing for Students

Wayne County Health Department is providing FREE HIV/STI testing for Ball State students on Thursday, February 6th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Student Health Center basement.

Testing will be conducted on a walk-in basis and does NOT require insurance. The following testing will be available: HIV, Hepatitis C, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Syphilis. For any questions or concerns call 765-285-3775 or email hpa@bsu.edu.

The Health Promotion and Advocacy group is an inclusive health and wellness education prevention program for students. They offer outreach programs, professional development, safer sex resources, and survivor support.

NEW Aspire Faculty Programming

Have any scholarship needs? The new ASPIRE faculty program helps better serve scholarship needs for faculty. There are currently two opportunities available for junior an established tenure-line faculty.

The Proposal Enhancement Grant supports preliminary or scholarly research to enhance the knowledge needed to seek funds from an external agency. The Arts & Humanities Emerging Scholarship Grant supports faculty in any creative pursuits that use humanistic or creative disciplines.

Eligibility includes faculty members that are in a tenure-line appointment. Tenured deadline is February 1 and early career deadline is November 1.
