MUNCIE, Ind. — On Tuesday, Ball State’s Benny Buddy’s Club hosted a crafts and chat event for students. This was the club's last event of the semester. Students from many different backgrounds and cultures gathered together to have some fun! This mix of multiple cultures gave way to exciting exchanges of stories between attendees.
Some talked about traditions, while others spoke about their ancestry. The Multicultural Center on Ball State is a great place to get to know others worldwide. This club is just one of the many that allow such an experience.
Multiple activities were available at the Crafts and Chat event. These included ornament decorating, stress ball making, origami, coloring, and bracelet making. The origami and bracelet-making options were the most popular.
Benny Buddies has much more planned for the future semester. In January, they are hosting a snowman-building event, and towards the end of next semester, a field trip will not be announced. These events and more draw students into the unity of the club. There is more to the club than these events.
Members get paired up with a Benny Buddy to do activities and get to know each other better throughout the year. Overall, this event was fun for those in this club and other students to join in and make new and lasting friendships.
