At approximately 9:27 a.m. Nov. 15, the Ball State Daily News received reports of Ball State’s campus losing power.
University Police (UPD) said the outage is “an American Electric Power (AEP) substation outage” and out of its control.
The Ball State Daily News reached out to University Content and Media Strategy Manager Andrew Walker for comment but has not heard back.
Nearly two weeks ago on Nov. 3, the north half of Ball State's campus lost power twice in the day due to a squirrel tripping an electrical transformer on campus.
