Ball State soccer has improved its record to 2-2 on the season after a victory over Michigan.
After falling to Butler 3-0 Thursday night, the team bounced back today to secure a 2-1 win. Junior Delaney Caldwell scored one goal in the match assisted by fellow junior, transfer Addie Chester, who later scored a goal of her own.
Like the Butler game, head coach Josh Rife’s defenders each played the full match, proving to be a successful choice as they walked away with a second-half shutout and a victory over a Big 10 school.
Ball State remains on the road to face Austin Peay Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. Following this match, the Cardinals begin a three-game home stand on Sept. 8.
